Answer: I think that the title is appropriate for the story of the truthful dove.

When the owl wanted to know the expression of Dove. The Dove expressed his feeling truly.

The Dove thanked the owl for his hospitality, offering shelter and food.

So, I argue that the Dove was really truthful and the title is appropriate for this story
